Uninhabited islands surrounded by warm, turquoise waters, where the climate is pleasant and mild, and heavenly sights take your breath away. The sunset over the Indian Ocean is unparalleled. All this sounds like paradise. Those are the Maldives. The archipelago includes 26 coral atolls, outgrowths from an underwater volcanic range. The name Maldives means "chain of islands," for it consists of about 1190 small islands, of which only 250 are inhabited. That is why this region is a unique place for sailing and experiencing real adventure. There are many places for anchoring yachts, to rest, to go diving or to admire the surrounding views. Temperatures are between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius while the water nearly always has 28 degrees. The Maldives are the ideal place for a romantic honeymoon, as well as holidays with family and friends.
