The islands of Ionian Sea are located to the west of continental Greece. The climate there is Mediterranean, people grow olives and citrus fruit, and the terrain is mountainous. The Ionian Sea is crystal clear and shimmers in the Sun, which adds to its charm. The island of Corfu is full of historic sites and is also the most green of the Greek islands. Its shoreline consists of steep cliffs as well as beautiful beaches. The island of Zakynthos offers beautiful views. There are grottoes in the northern part of the island. The Caretta caretta turtles, which lay their eggs there, are the symbols of Zakynthos. The Wreck Bay is the beach to visit! It’s considered one of the most beautiful such places in the world. Our route includes a trip from Corfu to Zakynthos and back to Corfu (the Wreck Bay). On the way we can see the beautiful island of Paxi, with the picturesque town of Gaios, the town of Parga, Fiskardo on the island of Cephalonia, as well as Frikes and Kioni on the island of Ithaca. It’s one of our most beautiful sailing routes. Charming bays, towns, Greek hospitality and their wonderful cuisine makes people fall in love with the Greek islands.
